Like so many others, we purchased our property 4 years ago and thought it would be 10 years before we built. We were surprised to find that it was within our means to go ahead and get started building our home. This one was built (beautifully, I might add) in a D-Log style instead of the Traditional Swedish Cope. This is a lovely example of how Lincoln Logs, Ltd. will work with the customer to give them exactly what they are looking for. Also, you may see the types of changes we made to our floor plan from the standard stock plan. We will be using 10" logs. We upgraded our staircase to half round logs instead of standard stairs. We will have a partially finished basement. Changed the grille style on our Vetter windows, removing many of them, ordered a custom Peachtree front door and ordered a motorized sun light, not to mention changing the actual floor plan to open up more of the second floor. Lincoln has been great to work with every step of the process. |
